Marcel Escoda Alegret was born in Tortosa, on December 27, 1966, but he lived since childhood in Andorra, where his parents moved in 1969.
He continued his schooling at the French school of Escaldes and then at the Collège Comte de Foix in Andorra la Vella, he finished secondary education at the Lycée Jean Prévost de Villard de Lans, where he was part of the Ski Etudes section, he took parallel studies and practice of alpine skiing, representing Andorra in international races.
He later moved to Toulouse where he studied medicine at the Faculty of Toulouse-Purpan, completed studies in the field of sports medicine and emergency medicine in the mountains.
Back in Andorra, he worked as a doctor in the Medical Center of Pas de la Casa-Grau Roig, in parallel he promoted the creation of Medisport, center of sports medicine and physiotherapy, he collaborated as a sports doctor with different sports federations and sports teams, he was also present in the driving team of the EFPEM (school of sports and mountain professions).
He died on September 6, 2003 in an accident while participating in a car rally.
